8th Grade Dance

May 19th was Nate's 8th grade dance.  He wasn't gung-ho about going, so I tried to find a group of friends to encourage him to have fun and not miss this fun dance.  Bryan wanted him to get a super flashy suit but he insisted on a basic pair of khakis and got some cute socks.

Most of the kids were cross country or band friends.  A great group!  We had dinner at Paesanos with the kids at one table and the parents at another.  At the very last minute (I'm talking 1pm the day of) we found a great deal on a stretch limo (Pontiac Escalade).  We surprised the kids after dinner with it.  It was precious to see their excited faces.

Nate had a sweet girl ask him to be her date to the dance.  After much thought, Nate said 'yes' and she made him this awesome tumbler!
Inside the limo - it seated 14, exactly the number of kids we had!  It was meant to be!

After dinner the limo drove us to James and Stacie's old house on main street Walhalla.  We thought it would be a beautiful yet convenient place to stop for pictures on the way to the school.  It was perfect!

Nate said his favorite part of the evening was dinner.  He had mussels but I think he just enjoyed fun time with friends.  Here they are arriving at the school.  The bass was so loud!
