Goodbye green cast!

I hope this is the last cast we have to saw off!
He wasn't expecting his elbow to be so stiff
His skin was irritated and he didn't want to go back to school. Unfortunately, he had a big social studies test so he went.
This brace was really cool! They heated it up in infrared oven then molded it to his arm. In minutes it was as hard as his fiberglass cast! We can take this one off for baths only! 2 more weeks of protection!

Crossover

Nate's crossover ceremony from Cub scouts to Boy Scouts was tonight.  It was a beautiful evening at High Falls.  I was so proud of him!

Henry demonstrating freestyle

Today was the last of Henry's swimming lessons.  Keowee Elementary has offered swim lessons to third graders for the last 18 years!  (Thanks to Mrs. Ellen Stumph)  I've enjoyed helping with several of the third grade classes.  Henry was asked to demonstrate the freestyle today and I think he did an awesome job!

School board meeting

Mr Holliday ask Nate to lead the pledge at last nights school board meeting. Nate felt so honored, especially after the special introduction his principal gave him.

Let it go!

Luke can Bike!

weekend randoms

Henry relaxing in the bathtub...when's my turn!?!

Luke and Calla wearing pajamas to school on Friday!
Friday night was Movie night.  Henry chose well, "Man of Steel" was great!
Math madness!! This was Nate's last year and Henry's first year!
Dr. said no dangerous stunts for Nate!! If you see any of this, tell him to STOP!  These boys are bb gun crazy!  Nate shot a big mean cat that bothers our cats.  He didn't kill him, but hopefully he scared him off
Goodnight!

3 more weeks

Poor Nate. He thought he was getting another cast today. Unfortunately we have to wear this long one for 3 more weeks. It's healing nicely though.
