school, teeth, and puppies

| I've been volunteering in Luke's class a few days a week. I take the kids out and help them practice typing in their user name and password for success maker (some kind of program they use). It's so much fun! I give them stickers and you think I was giving them diamonds! |

| My philosophy of late. Seems everytime I start training for a race, I gain weight!! Blast! 7 miles leaves me starving! |

| A delicious dinner we had with Mema and Papa between their camping trips. This is prime camping season and I'm so glad they are enjoying retirement! Their garden has been amazing this year! |

| Henry with brackets off his teeth today for just a moment! Bless his heart, he had 3 dental visits today. Taking it all off, then heading to dentist to have a tooth pulled, then back to get the braces back on. Hope it works! |

Making friends
We are working on making friends so Luke will like Kindergarten more. This little boy, Dameion, is likely the most well behaved child in Luke's class so we decided to invite him over. He was wonderful! I hope they become best friends. Fingers crossed he will warm up to school.

My throwback Thursday #tbt
He started soccer Tuesday and loved it!
My only issue is that all the practices are in sandy springs. But it is CASA and everyone says it's wonderful! It's 3 on 3 skill based. While in a "game" coaches may stop the play to teach.
Right now we are at the orthodontist. 
Looks Iike Henry's left canine is trying to impact just like Nate's. Waiting on 3D X-ray to see if root damage can be avoided.

Labor Day
Today Mark Denise Silas and Merritt left for Slovakia and Cliff went back to Mississippi. I miss them already but I'm so excited for them to have such a great adventure! Prayers for safe travels and good sleeps!
Mema and Papa also left today for a 2 week camping trip! We have been enjoying lots of good food from Papa's garden! Crowder peas are Nate's favorite and Henry loves the green beans. Luke likes to eat a banana pepper! We stopped by Mama and Daddy's to tell Mark, Denise, Si and Merritt and Cliff goodbye and then headed on a Labor Day hike to King Creek Falls with James Stacie and Marlowe.
Above is our really cool, really big writing spider that lives on the front porch. We're hoping he eats lots of mosquitos! He already looks like he has a big appetite!
We're on a big lego kick here at home. Not sure if they will ever say that this project is "finished." It just keeps growing!
Back to school tomorrow so it will be an early night here. Henry has guitar lessons and Luke starts soccer tomorrow!! Unfortunately all his practices will be in Sandy Springs.
