Treasure hunt

Since Luke was the only one home today (Nate and Henry were playing at a friends house) Bryan decided to go on a treasure hunt. Luke just happened upon this very old treasure map and it appears that treasure was buried near our house! What luck! So Bryan and Luke canoed to the shore of an island where Luke found a big X made of sticks. After a bit of digging they found it!

Tailgate fun

Clemson game days are so much fun thanks to these great friends that we get to tailgate with. The kids have a blast playing together and so do the adults! Go tigers!

Mrs Worsencroft

Nate's third grade teacher from last year lost her mother in a car accident this week. His class planted a Japanese maple in the courtyard in honor of her. Love this school!

Mama said they'll be days like this...

It's been one of those days..... Discipline issues with 2 out of 3 boys, homework issues with 2 out of 3, injuries involving blood with 2 out of 3. Cooked a dinner that was a failure, all the way down to the unleavened bread that wasn't supposed to be unleavened. Shall I go on? Because I can...Bath time ended when I heard someone yell 'cannonball!'. But now everyone's in bed and tomorrow is a new day and I'm happy to have spent the good and bad times with my boys. Life's joy is found in these little moments, even the not so good ones.
