Still tidying

Another one down another one down!
This is the coat closet when you walk in the front door. Below is Luke's closet. Noticed that he only has three pairs of pants! And both are too big!
And every article of day clothing is hung up! Even tshirts!

New Orleans

This year couples weekend was in New Orleans.  We went there for Bobby's 40th birthday (this is where he graduated high school)  We all met at Sandy and Bobby's house to begin the journey.  Sandy had all the girls adorable cercies!
The 7 girls rode in 1 car to the Atlanta airport, the 5 boys rode in the other car.  We got there first #winning
Brad and Bryan on the plane train
we traveled on Frontier Airlines, it wasn't quite as nice as Delta, but the price was right and we arrived safe and sound
Exploring Patrick Square
A delicious early dinner at Dragos
Then on to see a jazz musician "Kermit" at the Blue Nile
Eric getting his bib on to enjoy BBQ shrimp at Pascals
Our flight was delayed Sunday so we arrived home around midnight.  It was another fabulous time with great friends!  Thank you Deedee and John Daddy and Mema and Papa for taking good care of our boys.

Tidying up

My sister-in-law Denise recommended a book to me over our vacation called "The life changing magic of tidying up" if anyone on the face of this planet needed it, I did! Don't ask why I started in my closet. The author told me to.

My closet was so full that I could barely put away T-shirts and hanging clothes. I won't go into the details behind the plan, just know that it was not my idea and I only followed instructions. I removed every article of clothing, every single item from my closet and put it in a big pile in the kitchen
And then I ask if each item brought me joy and before I knew it I had 13 large trash bags ready for yard sale in the garage, and 2 trash bags of trash.
The Prince T-shirt did not make the cut. However the Miley Cyrus silver leggings did because they bring me joy.
I cleaned with essential oil's like lavender and thieves. I hung pictures that I had painted myself.
Be sure to notice the upward line in the colors. Dark to light
Next stop, Nate, Henry and Luke's closet. If you're looking for some motivation check out this book!

Digging for crabs

The boys enjoy digging for little crabs today. Every time we saw a hole like this we knew there was a crap somewhere.
Look at his cute little eyes! There are three in this bucket.
Bryan, John Daddy and Nate stayed on the beach all day. They enjoyed watching the neighbors fly kites. Aren't they beautiful!
