DC day 2

We were on the bus at 7am, leaving only Jessie (stomach virus) and his grandpa behind. Despite rain and cold temps, we headed to Arlington Cemetary. Was 50° and pouring rain but that didn't stop us from having a great time
Stryder at the Dternal Flame
Great group of kids
Henry watching the changing of the guard at the tomb of the unknown soldier
Soaked!
Robert E Lees home
Horse drawn caisson carrying an American flag draped casket
Silly lunch and then on to tour some monuments. We did have a few hours of frustration because our step on tour guide had some Miscommunication and we spent hours looking for her.
Henry taking pictures of the Washington Monument
Jen and I at the Lincoln Memorial.
"Jenny!!"
The Vietnam wall was my favorite. We may have a homeless veteran. Of course Henry had to give him money
Korean War Memorial
Dinner and then illuminated tour of DC!
WW2 memorial
Jefferson memorial
Roosevelt memorial was a series of water and stone monuments First term the ever flowing fountain

But my favorite was the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial
So many beautiful quotes
It is 10:15 PM and we are just getting on the bus to go back to the hotel.
