Crossover campout 2013

Our Crossover Campout was this weekend and it turned out awesome! This is when our 5th graders move from being Cub Scouts to Boy Scouts.  We couldn't have asked for better weather.  Sunny, high 70s during the day.  55-60 at night.  Next year Nate will be crossing!

Cub Scouts love to build fires.  You can imagine I'm a little nervous taking this picture.  When Luke is near a fire, I don't walk away!

Elizabeth brought Eliza and Grace out to enjoy family time.  They were so sweet and they are growing so fast!

Scavenger Hunt winners! (yes this was my team)  We worked so hard even finding a feather, and a real 4 leaf clover!  Also, please note that this is what Henry wore to school Friday morning and this picture was taking Saturday afternoon :)

More fun with fire.  Bennett is making an edible stew but unfortunately, he didn't find any takers.

Getting ready for dinner.  We fed around 60 people for each meal.  The pack provides all food and snacks for the cubs and their families.

Ready to say the blessing

These are our 3 cubs crossing over.  They will be great Boy Scouts! Congratulations Mitchell, Tyler & Jacob!
