DeeDee, Nate Henry & I went on a hike behind her house. Why do boys love hikes so much? |
They were so excited to get to the creek. Adventure is thrilling to them. |
Henry's eyes are closed, but cute smile Luke~ |
Possibly the biggest living room tent ever! I even crawled through it, finding rice krispie treat wrappers along the way. |
Maybe Mark, James or Cliff's old fort? N H & L were in awe of the complexity of this fort. |
At Reese's birthday party tonight. Nate hugging Chloe, Reese in the background (red cardinal) |
eyes open Henry |
I went alone to Jane Horton's wedding today (thank you Mema & Papa). What a beautiful day for a wedding. Here is the Chapel at Cliffs of Glassy. |
What a view! |

Love, love these!!
That is in fact, the last fort James and I ever built, probably put up in about 1987. If they really want to look for one, send them after the first fort we ever built, in the treeline directly behind the house (and now the barn). There used to be a little clearing there of dwarf pines, probably big pines now.
