Happy Labor Day!

Bryan and Bobby took all the kids river rafting Monday!
Even though the river was down from last time, they still had a great time.
Sweet Sarah was the only girl in the bunch! She doesn't look like it bothers her at all!
Today was the first day of the 4th and last year of preschool for Luke.
He was especially excited because Marlowe will be in mrs Tracy's class this year!
I just peeped in and she was still jumping up and down smiling, just like she was when I dropped Luke off at 8:00! Hope everyday is this fun!

40 year old friends

Last night was the last birthday party for this group of friends. We have celebrated for the past 12 months as each if us turned 40. Friend: one who knows all about you and loves you just the same.
Friendship is the hardest thing in the world to explain. It's not something you learn in school. But if you haven't learned the meaning of friendship, you really haven't learned anything.
Maybe I can't stop the downpour, but I will always, always join you for a walk in the rain.
There comes a point in your life when you realize who really matters, who never did, and who always will.
Never explain - your friends do not need it and your enemies won't believe it anyway.
A good friends knows all your best stories. A best friend lived them with you.
It takes time to grow an old friend.
A friend is someone who knows the song in your heart, and can sing it to you when you forget the words.
Live is blind, friendship closes its eyes.
Friendship is not about whom you have known the longest, it's about who came and never left your side.
I'm looking forward to sharing another 40 years of friendship with you all!

Tailgate fun at 1st Clemson game

We headed to Clemson around 1130. 8 1/2 hours before kickoff but we were still some of the last to arrive in our group!
Despite heavy rain in Walhalla, we only had a few sprinkles!
The kids played so hard all day!
Where's Nate?
Maybe he was checking out the Ferrari parked next to us!
Dance party time!
How did he manage this??
Sweet friends!
Cliff, Whitney and her roommate grace tailgates too!
All good things must come to an end and unfortunately, for the Duncan kids and mom, it was around 730.
Even this couldn't keep Luke up past 930!! We tucked him in and Nate Henry and I enjoyed watching the game on tv. Bryan stayed and made it home around 130!  Fun fun day!!
