Dear Joy,
Congratulations, your program has been selected to receive a 2013 Kids Run the Nation Grant in the amount of $500. The national selection panel received over 230 applications and your program was selected to receive a grant based on the fact that your program was a strong match for our grant criteria.
You will receive a check from the RRCA along with a letter that you need to sign and return acknowledging that you have received the check and will abide by the grant criteria. You will have twelve months to spend your grant funds so you can use these funds in the spring, summer or fall of 2014.
You will be required to complete an online reporting form in October 2014 outlining details about your program and how funds were utilized. We do request that you share a photo of your program that the RRCA can use for promotional purposes.
If for any reason the program is cancelled before the funds are expended, you must return all unused funds to the RRCA: Kids Run the Nation Fund.
Congratulations and thank you for inspiring a lifetime of fitness through running.
Best,
Andy Smith

3 posts in 1 day!!
Wow! But I just had to share these points i loved from a sermon today. The "whoever" referred to in #1 is " for God so loved the world that he gave his only son WHOEVER believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."
Happy birthday Henry! 9 years old!
We had a great birthday dinner with MeMa and Papa and John Daddy and DeeDee at Yoshi's, Henry wanted sushi for his birthday! |
Sweet Dan and singing and playing Happy Birthday to Henry despite a broken thumb. |
Henry is so happy to get some money for his birthday and a lifeproof case for his ipod. Now he can video underwater! |
It was cowboy day at Golden Corner Preschool. |
Nate spent Saturday morning carving his very first jack-o-lantern. He did it all by himself! He did an awesome job! |
He's awesome with a pocketknife! |
It was not dark enough outside, so Bennett and Nate enjoyed the jack-o-lantern in the pantry! |
Sweet Campbell had her birthday party at the tailgate! |
8pm kickoff meant Bryan cooks his famous Low Country Boil at the tailgate. It's so fun to hear people walking by whispering "wow! that's how you tailgate!" |
Nate and Wright were helping cook. and I mean really helping! |
Sandy and Bobby brought crab legs for the stew (Sarah's favorite!) |
Soups on! |
It's always fun to have Brooke at the game. Betty was having a girls weekend in Greenville so she got to hang with us. Kids had a blast playing 4 square with her! |
Free Soup People! Of course, the kids ended up making their own gross concoction. They couldn't give it away, but they sure got some attention from passerbys |
Glow sticks! |
Such fun! I'm already excited to celebrate Elizabeth's 40th birthday, she's the last of the group to hit the big 4-0! |

40 ain't nothing but a number!
It's been a good birthday! The only thing that could've made it better is if this little turkey would stay healthy and fever free!
